On November 2, in order to help nurture world-class enterprises with global competitiveness, and to strengthen the exchange of advanced experience in internationalization management and talent development of central enterprises, 2018 Salon of internationalization management and talent development of central enterprises and the 2nd CBEAD International Master Seminar took place in Beijing. The event was sponsored by CBEAD and co-sponsored by Sinopec Management Institute.
This salon focuses on the theme of "broadening international horizons and promoting international development", and jointly exchanges and explores new concepts, new ideas and new measures for the internationalization of Chinese enterprises in talent training. Tan Yue, vice president of CBEAD, said that the global competitiveness of enterprises is fundamentally the international competitiveness of talents. The key to the international competitiveness of talents is the construction of international talent team. CBEAD, as one of the first member units of the "International Cooperation and Intelligence Introduction and Innovation Base for Central Enterprises of SASAC", should develop and utilize foreign talents and intellectual resources, strengthen the promotion and sharing of outstanding achievements, participate in the practice of global talent cultivation and promote the international competitiveness of talent cultivation of central enterprises.
The event invited well-known experts and industry experts in the field of internationalization and cross-cultural management. They discussed hot issues of internationalization and talent development through keynote speeches and guest dialogues. Guo Yingjie, Vice President of Sinopec Management Institute, Huang Weidong, Founder of 4stones Cross-cultural Consulting Group, Robert A. Theleen, Chairman and CEO of Zhongchuang Corporation, President of Shanghai American Chamber of Commerce, and Daniel Yalowitz, Professor of American Academy of Intercultural Exchange, shared their thoughts separately in themes of Sinopec's internationalization management and talent cultivation practice, global thinking cognition and construction, strategic thinking of the internationalization of the central enterprise, and the integration and development of multicultural teams.
More than 60 people from 30 relevant departments of internationalization business of central enterprises, such as the State Development Bank, China Construction Group and China Food Group, participated in the event.
